My Thoughts : The hugh success of Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons are all owed it to Frankie Vallie trademark falsetto voice and The Four Seasons unique blend of harmonies. Valli ethereal high notes buttressed by the backgroud chanting of the Four Seasons underpinned by the tragicomic bass has produced an upbeat and energetic form of dance music during those days. From 1962 to 1967 the Four Seasons had eighteen Top Twenty hits, making them the most popular group in the history. All the great hits and their lesser known hits are crammed onto this single CD which makes a great bargain!!

Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons are the trademark of the sixties. For some who like to relive the past, this album is definately a great choice.

The only problem is this album does not include Frankie Valli top solo hits like "My Eyes Adored You", "Swearin To God" and "Grease", but with the release by Rhino in 2003, fans can opt to purchase "Very Best of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons"
