My Thoughts : Follow by the The Turtles - Greatest Hits introduction, I will continue with Tommy James & The Shondells - Anthology as they are belong in the same league - pop rocks. And co-incidentally, both albums are release by Rhino/Wea. Rhino did a great job of compiling their discography and make a good selections, thereby sincerely presenting their songs in a chronological way and with each songs selected with a good reasons, giving the listeners a more than satisfactory reward by listening to thier albums.
Tommy James and the Shondells put out a string of infectious hits during the second half of the Sixties that are mainstays of classic rock radio stations around the country. And for good reason--these are terrific pop songs! All the big hits are included here, "Crystal Blue Persuasion", "Crimson and Clover", "I Think We're Alone Now", "Mony Mony" , "Hanky Panky", "Mirage"
Of course, sleepers hits are included like "Do Something To Me", "Out Of The Blue", "Say I Am" and "Cellophane Symphony".
Also worth mentions, "Draggin The Line" a major solo hits by Tommy James is also included. Overall, if you like Turtles, The Lovin Spoonful, The Buckinghams, The Hollies, then this Anthology is not to be miss.
